Echo Chamber is a Psychological and Social Horror short story written by Gedankenflux. It was published in the second volume of Anodnye – an independent magazine showcasing diverse perspectives on health through art.
In a Berlin housing block reality begins to crack for a reclusive writer battling anxiety and social scrutiny. Amidst judgmental neighbors and the oppressive atmosphere of her apartment complex, she sets out on a surreal journey to meet a literary idol who may —or may not — exist.
What begins as a search for inspiration descends into a chilling confrontation with inner demons, communal trauma, and a place where time, space, and identity unravel.
